AnonyMouse (Sweden)

This anonymous collective builds miniature dioramas set into foot-level openings in urban facades. Their meticulously crafted models offer us glimpses into an imagined world where mice lead lives parallel to our own, collecting the castoffs of human civilization to construct their own elaborate living spaces. Scattered throughout Place Royale and the Old Port, these miniscule mouse businesses and services include a radio station, a tavern, a travel agency, and a shelter for homeless rodents.
AnonyMouse is a Swedish street art collective known for its mouse-scale installations. Their work imparts a sense of magic to our urban experience, conjuring the enchanting world of children’s stories. AnonyMouse has snuck their small-scale installations into the nooks and crannies of more than thirty European and American cities including Malmö, Stockholm, Bayonne, the Isle of Man, and Boston.
